Electoral College Math

As you know, no matter how many votes presidential candidates get, if they don’t win the Electoral College, they lose. 

• In 2016 when Hillary won the popular vote by 2,864,985. 
• Trump became president largely because he won in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, by a total of about 77,000 votes.
• In 2020, even though Biden won by seven million votes, in the swing states he actually won by only 235,992 votes (of which 65% came from Michigan). 

If we focus our efforts on energizing voters in swing states, we can do this!
